I’m a product manager, entrepreneur, and public scholar dedicated to building a better world.
I don’t fit in a box. I’m a historian and production manager, a musician and an entreprenuer. From crafting arts policies to designing software applications, I thrive on work that’s challenging, complex, and impactful.
I started my professional life as a classically trained pianist, but fell in love with history. I earned a PhD in musicology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015. A year earlier, I founded Rabble, a startup that empowers public libraries to support and sustain their local creative communities. (Yes, I finished my dissertation while getting a startup off the ground. It was a busy year.)
I currently work as a Product Manager, developing and driving the entire product process at a growing startup that inspires communities to read more and read together. As PM, my work runs the gamut from acting as the voice of the user to spinning up and managing new internal teams and processes.
As CEO of Rabble, I developed a transformative music sharing model adopted by world-class libraries in major music cities from Seattle to Austin to Pittsburgh. In a competitive marketplace where funding and talent are scarce, I pulled together resources to create an industry-altering sustainable company.
Let’s make something together.
I use my expertise as a strategist, leader, and creative to help organizations in Pittsburgh and beyond tackle difficult problems and build elegant solutions.
